The Beach District of Hollywood's Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) was created in 1997 in order to redevelop Hollywood Beach as a dynamic place to invest, work, live and play. The Beach District includes approximately 293 acres from Sherman Street south to the south property line of the Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa, and from the Intracoastal Waterway east to the Atlantic Ocean.
